We the People should respect the system of freedom created by our founding fathers. The Constitution and Bill of Rights happened because of a rare situation where the elite landowners saw an opportunity to grow their power by encouraging the masses to revolt against the practice of taxation without representation practiced by the British Monarchy and any form of leadership which becomes too seperated from the people that make their luxurious fantasy possible.

Network Marketing deserves the negative reputation it most often receives because the scammers have been more free to take than the newbies have been able to defend, organize and operate under a best practices umbrella. This is all natural ofcourse and played out in America's Wild West before it was civilized.

Regardless, we are at a tipping point in network marketing. While the usual jib jab you hear about network marketing being an escape from the corporate self destructive empire is a bunch of hog wash. You don't have your own business if you have to fill out a contract with terms you must abide by, for starters. However, you have something more realistic and worthwhile- an opportunity to claim a stake in the leadership of a company.

Corporations become evil because they are designed to remove human decision making from the practice of making a profit by any means neccesary. You could be the CEO of a company and decide that you want to be environmentally conscious and it would not matter in the least. Why? Because decisions are made ultimately by shareholders and all they care about is making money. They would sell the company and couldn't care less if millions were poisoned by what goes in the river near a plant for example.

Now, if on the other hand, a company is a family company whose CEO started as a distributor like you are, he won't screw you over like many companies do with CEO's who have degrees and are publicly traded. He knows that short term profits like that kill a company in the long run.

Are you getting the idea that it matters who you listen to when you are trying to build your business plan for lifelong success? Or do you think you can just listen to your company cheerleaders and that they will point you to what happens in the industry as a whole?

Here's an idea. Quit telling other networkers about your damn products. That's almost always the first thing someone lays on me the first time I hear from them online. They think that if they just shoot some generic hullabaloo out to millions of people that somebody will do it. Please! If the largest companies in the world saturate our eyeballs and minds with commercials about Saturn cars and whatever and you still don't buy then why in the world is that going to work for you with your limited budget? No, you need to respect each person you reach out to. Each one of those people is just like you in the sense that they need help to reach their dreams. You need to build a relationship as another flesh and blood human being who cares and can help.

After you help people and point them to best practices of operation in this industry- real mentors who have been there, done that, and taught others; then, you have earned these people's loyalty. They will ask you what company you have chosen and why. Plus, you've figured out if they are coachable. You don't want just anyone to work with you. You want someone you could go on a cruise for 2 weeks when they are achieving their goals.

Here's another nugget of advice. Who the heck am I to take advice from? Maybe you like what you heard and it matches what you know about life and business and that is to be respected as a gut instinct. Its good to be open to new ideas and real leaders have to be good followers first and foremost. Real leaders are quick to make decisions and don't change their mind easily. Notice how this is different than the million and one times people go from one company to the next and are sure its gonna work "this time". I know, I've done all the mistakes you can think of and you will want to respect failure as neccesary to success as the breakthroughs. A baby falls zillions of times before they walk. Nobody takes a picture of the falls and goes, "good job". This is a wrong way of thinking and behaving. Our world is full of them. Here's one, "Don't go in the water after you eat or you'll get a cramp and drown." Look it up on the internet or ask a pro for proof. You won't find any.

Ok, here's the deal. If you value straight talk like this, and are willing to listen to the advice of someone who has been living off residual income for the past 19 years and was only able to reach this breakthrough by taking the focus off of himself and putting it into LEARNING ABOUT PEOPLE SO HIS TRAINING ACTUALLY DUPLICATED HIS SUCCESS. Just ask yourself how much you have been served by your company upline who walks across the stage getting his big check and awards? Most often these people have no idea how to help other people do what they do. If success was all about natural leaders, then the rest of us would be disposable. We're not disposable, we're able to learn and do if these supposed experts would get past their ego long enough to understand that people are different and we have to reach out to them where they are to be able to show them where to go to achieve success.
